In commenting on this story, <a href="http://www.smartmobs.com/archive/2006/10/10/smartmob_studen....html" rel="nofollow">Howard Rheingold called me</a> an "investigative aggregator." I like the sound of that.

In the new age of participatory journalism, may we all become investigative aggregators.

I am one of the arrested students...I am currently searching for the originaly footage showing what actually happened regarding the arrests (the police ripping off diogo's pants and striking me while face down on the concrete) for my trial starting in October. If anyone has any info regarding this, please contact me through my Stanford email account. Extremely strange concealment of information has occured.

It is great to read the whole story. In some sense, media is the same as power. Whoever controls the media has the most powerful voice. Thanks to the new technology, we now all can make our voice heard. Perhaps it is the reason why they want to have censorship.

Apparently the second video has been taken down. This is a shame because it is the best footage I have seen. It shows the police dragging the arrested students from their sitting positions.

Thanks for your account. It was good to hear the whole story. I'm a recent Stanford graduate and heard about this on NPR a couple weeks ago. Wish I had been there!

I'm just glad somebody found and used my pictures. It was really creepy taking pictures of cops taking pictures of me.
